About Us
This, initiative was formed in December 2022, when a group of the indigenes met and decided to explore ways to promote social inclusion, in order to create awareness, fight poverty, seek opportunity for families and foster peace within the community.
The main focus areas are to be in Health Care,
Social Welfare, Education & Scholarship Empowerment & also sustainable goals .
AKEI was registered with the General Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), in August 2023 as a Charity organisation, with registration number 7097594.
Membership, is voluntary and open to all indigenes of Akaboedoji without discrimination, but at a minimum of 18 years.
AKEI is self funded with monthly dues by its members. But, it will welcome donations from other Organisations, Governments, businesses, etc., in order to achieve its goals & and objectives. The disbursement of such funds would be based on priority and need.
